- Abstract
This article describes the manufacture, conservation, and display of a monumental reverse-painted glass mural titled The Chariot of Poseidon. It was designed by Jean Dupas (1882-1964) and created by Jacques-Charles Champigneulle (1907-1955) for the SS Normandie, and it is now in the collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
