- Abstract
The article focuses on the research project that bands with white-winged dove in Mason, Texas. It relates to the setting up of a modified wire, funnel trap baited with seeds and grain to catch white-winged dove. However, other birds species like the Northern cardinal was found in the trap, while a fox squirrel was also noticed holding the bird carcass. Moreover, the study indicates that finding Northern Cardinals in a trap are not usual, so they were released unharmed.
