- Abstract
The article explores the Nebraska Unicameral Legislative Bill, aimed to eliminate the property tax exemption for religious organizations in the state, introduced to the Nebraska legislature by Nebraska State Senator Ernie Chambers, as of July 2015. Topics discussed include loss of property tax revenue, violation of the Establishment and Free Exercise Clause of the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, and decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in the case 'Walz v. Tax Comm'n of N.Y.'
