- Abstract
The author comments on a study which tests the effectiveness of changing prescription drug labels from a current standard to a Universal Medication Schedule (UMS) that displays specific times of day when prescriptions should be taken. Topics discussed include the participants of the study, the drug labeling standards of the U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention (USP), and the results which showed that patients receiving UMS-labelled drugs were more likely to demonstrate proper use of medication.
