The article discusses the study regarding the optimal age or time for repairing tympanic membrane perforations in pediatric patients. Topics discussed include several complications of tympanoplasty such as transient vertigo, chorda tympani injury, and external auditory canal infections, the difference in outcomes of treatment based on age, and the delay of delay tympanic membrane repair in contralateral otitis media with effusion.
