- Abstract
The article examines the Federal Arbitration Act (FAA) of the U.S. with respect to class arbitration. An overview of the FAA and changes to its legal framework by Supreme Court decisions are presented. The decision of the Supreme Court on the case of Green Tree Financial Corp. versus Bazzle that is said to have expanded the legal framework of FAA beyond its original intent is also discussed. Suggestions on how to improve the FAA and class arbitration by studying labor arbitration are also presented.
