Abstract
The article reports that the Bathurst District Historical Society and the Department of Veteran Affairs held a ceremony to honor local nurses who served in World War I. Topics discussed include the opening of an exhibition about the nurses at the Bathurst District Historical Society Museum, nurse Muriel Wakeford's written description when troops landed at Gaba Tepe on April 25, 1915 and voluntary services provided by Bathurst nurses during the war.
