The article focuses on a study which examined the effectiveness of the SilverHawk Plaque Excision System in the treatment of peripheral lesions in the superficial femoral artery. The methodology used in the study is described, such as the performance of duplex ultrasonography. It offers information on the degree of patency that the surgical intervention has presented.
