- Abstract
The article presents an online science experiment on the relationship between the sun shadow and the equinox. The project has several goals including the collection of mid-day pictures of shadows from various latitude locations and to allow students to share information about the altitude of the mid-day sun on an equinox in order to calculate the polar circumference of the earth. The results revealed that the eggs that are used repeatedly will develop cracks or will flatten on the ends. The eggs that are placed on a rough-textured surface balance better compared to eggs in a smooth surface. The spinning of hard boiled eggs will balance as long as they are spinning.
