- Abstract
The article reports on the implications of creating an assessment tool for students in response to the importance of conceptual understanding as the basis for learning science and the employment of scientific reasoning in the workplace. Active studying has been known to be the most effective way of studying for any traditional assessment. Assessment for students with disabilities should be personalized because each student has his own weaknesses and strengths. Thus, it is essential to understand the concepts when examining the special needs students. Precise measurement of the understanding of students with special needs and providing them with the opportunity to eliminate their communication weakness should be prioritized.
