- Abstract
The article discusses the social justice in the library, with librarianship's core valued to include access, democracy, diversity and social responsibility. It notes the importance and deep impact of representation on the communities that libraries serve, as well as the philosophy of displays in which underrepresented groups ought to be featured more in library displays. It also discusses the role of librarians in reinforcing the importance of social justice and equity with their presence.
