- Abstract
The article reports on the K-20 Information Literacy (IL) continuum program in Oregon. The IL continuum is an instructional and resource infrastructure established to support the state residents' process of developing their IL skills. According to the authors, librarians' role in the program is important in that they are part of preparing students for critical thinking, resource evaluation and analysis required to earn a college degree. Several libraries in the state are advocating the program.
