- Abstract
In Table 2, no type 1 diabetes mellitus patient appears to have a cutoff > 0.7 mm carotid intima media thickness value. If the carotid intima media thickness values were measured at certain intervals, the relationship between the changes in the carotid intima media thickness values and other cardiovascular risk parameters could be revealed. Therefore, these factors such as non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and metabolic syndrome not mentioned in the study also contribute to increased carotid intima media thickness.
