- Abstract
The physical-chemical (spectral-luminescence and lasing) characteristics of newly synthesized compounds (difluoroborides of dipyrromethenes) have been obtained as functions of their chemical structure, solvents (liquid and frozen solutions, solid-state matrices), excitation wavelength and intensity, and temperature (77-295K) of the solution. On the basis of an analysis of the results, the possibilities of applying the new compounds to construct various optical devices are discussed.
