- Abstract
The article presents a study which examines the impact of iron depletion in the antimicrobial activities of ceftazidime, tobramycin and ciprofloxacin against Pseudomonas aeruginosa planktonic and biofilm. The study is investigated by microdilution method, Mann-Whitney U test, and antibiotic powders. Results show that iron depletion can promote bactericidal effect of antibiotics on P. Aeruginosa when biofilm is formed.
