- Title
Current Labor Statistics.
- Abstract
The article presents several definitions, notes, and charts related to current labor statistics in the U.S. Among the definitions, it is stated that employer-provided benefits are benefits that are financed wholly or partly by the employer. The Employment Cost Index (ECI) is a quarterly measure of the rate of change in compensation per hour worked and includes wages, salaries, and costs of employee benefits to the employer. The charts are on the unemployment rate in the U.S. and other countries as of 2011-2012, employment status of the working-age population, and annual indexes of manufacturing productivity for several countries.
