- Abstract
The purpose of this study is to evaluate a laboratory assay for heat-resistant phytase. Seven large-sales phytase were bought as test samples. The indexes such as enzyme survival rate in simulated gastrointestinal fluid and in simulated high-temperature granulation process in water bath were tested to judge the activity of heat-resistant phytase. Moreover, the indexes of enzymatic hydrolysis of soybean meal by the heat-resistant phytases were analyzed. The activity of different heat-resistant phytase in water bath at 90 °C for 3 minutes could be used to evaluate that at 85 °C in practice production. There was no significant diflerence (P > 0. 05). The methods and their indexes were adapted to evaluate the effectiveness of feeding heat-resistant phytase based on simulated digestive system in vitro. And the results were provided for the use of heat-resistant phytase in feed production practice.
