- Abstract
This inquiry-manifesto delves into the potential transformative impact of what embracing magical knowledge could do for post-materialist educational research. We are laboring toward crafting methodologies that might break free from colonialist biases associated with materialist research to embrace a holistic perspective that acknowledges our interconnectedness with and dependence on the environment and its knowledge. In the form of a dialogue, we propose Anzaldúa's notion of el mundo surdo as an invitation and a theoretical point of departure inviting and a challenging educational researchers who long to think-feel the possibilities of teaching and inquiry that accounts for marginalized traditions and spiritualities not merely acknowledged but also celebrated.
