- Authors
Werner, Ray O.; Tower, C. Burk
- Abstract
The article presents U.S. legal developments in marketing relative to the regulation of price competition. In reference to price discrimination the Purdy Mobile Homes, Inc. v. Champion Home Builders Co. and Tamarack Homes case is cited. The case concerns the legal issues pertaining to "delivery discrimination" in relation to a mobile home manufacturer. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit found that Champion Home Builders' refusal to make all of its mobile home lines available to Purdy Mobile Homes Inc. did not violate state or federal law.
