Cohen, Dorothy
- Abstract
The article presents legal developments in marketing relating to the regulation of unfair competition. Regarding advertising, the United States Supreme Court cases "Federal Trade Commission v. The Borden Company" and "Ralph Ginzburg, et al., v. United States," are discussed, involving charges of deceptive advertising and price discrimination on the part of The Borden Co. and violations of obscenity laws in the case of Ralph Ginzburg, in which it was determined that advertising cannot be separated from the product advertised.
