- Title
La Presidencia de Castilla y su Secretaría en el siglo XVIII.
- Authors
De CASTRO MONSALVE, Concepción
- Abstract
This work aims to show the political nature that, from its start, had the Castile Presidency, a post deeply related to the king, which included governors who collaborated with the monarch and his secretaries; but also, that in the 1740 decade, a change is made in the direction of a wider distance imposed from the monarch and his secretaries. Showing also that, from 1791 on, Floridablanca's so called «ministerial despotism» accentuated this distance.
