- Abstract
The article focuses on Taiwanese films that offer decentralization, documentary-style realism, and local Taiwanese cultures and landscapes. The author discusses the films "Island Etud" by Chen Huai-En, "Din Tao: Leader of the Parade" by Fung Kai, and "Jump Ashin!" by Lin Yu-Hsien, explores their depiction of Taiwanese national identity and cultural hybridity, and examines their use of documentary materials.
