- Abstract
The article offers information on a study which examines a set of hypotheses about differences between American and Asian Indian couples in their preferences for six emotion regulation (ER) strategies and their daily associations with relationship relevant emotional experience. It mentions that one cannot extrapolate from existing ER research when it comes to understanding emotional functioning in romantic relationships in different cultural contexts.
