- Abstract
This paper presents the results of a quantitative research conducted with 272 individuals (men and women) to provide a gendered vision. The results show that the women entrepreneurs are more educated than their male counterparts. They represent 22% of the entrepreneurs. They undertake mainly in a field close to their training, they are rather young (38 years) and mostly married. They are more in a Pull position than Push. They suffer little from lack of support and lack of funding because they have the support of their family. They run companies with 10 employees and more. Finally, women have a profitability almost identical to that of men, even slightly higher.
