- Title
Paradox in time travel unassociated with the violation of causality.
- Authors
Nikolenko, Oleksandr D.
- Abstract
The analysis shows that the main known paradoxes in time travel occur when the violation of the cause-effect chain takes place as the result of some actions done by the traveler in the past. It is then natural to question--if the violation of that chain becomes the required condition for the paradoxes of that class to occur. The paradox in time travel is built that is not connected at first hand with the violation of the cause-effect chain. This new kind of paradox is not subject to the Novikov self-consistency principle, and thus restores the restriction on time travel. The researches of these kinds of paradoxes allow to better understand the peculiarities of the time dimension and its differences from the spatial dimension.
