The article focuses on court case Rocky Mountain Farmers Union v. Corey wherein constitutional challenges were presented against the Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) of the California Air Resources Board (CARB) . Topics discussed include the Global Warming Solutions Act enacted by the government of California, greenhouse gas emissions reduced by the CARB, the violation of the Dormant Commerce Clause through the LCFS enactment according to the plaintiff, opinions from court case Chemical Waste v. Hunt being used in Rocky Mountain Farmers Union and the need for state legislation against climatic changes.
