- Abstract
The article offers information on different ways of altering property rights law in order to effectively adapt to technological changes regarding energy innovations of the 21st century. It informs that issues related to energy development and environmental impacts of coal and oil emissions are widening the bounds of property law. It recommends that protection of property interests under liability rules rather than property rules is more beneficial for considering citizens' rights.
