- Abstract
The article discusses the use of video games as a narrative therapy tool in the treatment of individuals with mental depression, anxiety, and other mental illness. Topics addressed include the theoretical foundation of narrative therapy, the use of videogames in conjunction with cognitive-behavioral therapy, and the narrative potential of role playing games (RPG). A case of a 17-year-old Hispanic American female patient with depressive symptoms is cited.
