- Title
REVERSING THE REFS: AN ARGUMENT FOR LIMITED REVIEW IN HORSE RACING.
- Authors
Liebman, Bennett
- Abstract
The article focuses on the non-interference of courts with the decision of a sports official. This kind of notion has already been accepted by the Court of Arbitration for Sport. Decisions of judges, umpires or referees are final and presumed correct in the absence of fraud, corruption or bad faith. However, the case of the horse racing sport seems to be different because decisions of horse racing stewards are sometimes reversed by racing commissions.
