- Abstract
The article discusses the history of women and race in Oregon in relation to the Oregon Multicultural Archives (OMA). Archives including the Annabelle E. Jaramillo Papers, 1967-2011; the Jean Moule Papers, 1984-2011, and Oral History Interviews; and the Urban League of Portland (ULPDX) Records, 1945-2008 are addressed. Also noted are the history of the ULPDX in relation to the National Urban League is noted, the role of education professor Jean Moule in advancing multicultural education while teaching at the Oregon State University (OSU) College of Education, and the political activism of Annabelle E. Jaramillo.
