- Abstract
The article presents the qualitative study which examined how students' cultural backgrounds are reflected in Head Start classrooms based on teachers' perspectives in the U.S. It cites the three themes seen in the study, including the influence of children's interest and development on curriculum and the communication between teacher and families. Also cited is the importance of teachers' training on cultural diversity in achieving success in the classroom.
