Inquiry Based Learning: What's Your Question?

- Abstract
"Tell me and I forget, show me and I remember, involve me and I understand" (Chinese Proverb). As education moves into the 21st century, students are asked to know and do more then ever before. College students today will have an average of 14 jobs in their lifetime. Half of these positions have not yet been created. How do we prepare students for their future in a job market that is still undefined? How do we provide a rich learning environment where students not only learn content but can utilize that content to apply, evaluate, assess, analyze, create, and problem solve in innovative and creative ways? This project explores these questions and more in the quest to provide educators with the Inquiry Based Learning tools needed to teach in the 21st century and beyond.
