- Abstract
The article focuses on the multiple treatment comparison (MTC) meta-analyses. MTC uses both head-to-head randomized clinical trial (RCT) evidence as well as indirect evidence from RCTs to compare the relative effectiveness of all medical interventions. It is suggested that the clinicians who evaluates an MTC should be aware of the potential biases that can affect the interpretation of analyses. It informs that the head-to-head direct comparisons of treatments are more trustworthy than indirect comparisons. INSETS: Box 2. Using the Guide;Box 4. Using the Guide;Box 5. Using the Guide;Box 6.
