- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 35-year old woman who was admitted to authors' clinic with complaints of difficulty on swallowing, hoarseness, and aphonia for 3 years. On direct laryngoscopy, a bulging behind the posterior pharyngeal wall extending toward the cricoid cartilage level was evident. A surgical excision of the mass was performed and the histopathological examination was reported as juvenile nasopharyngeal angiofibroma (JNA), which is very rare in female patients.
