- Abstract
The article is a response to a comment made by Willbrand et al. on the author's work on human cerebral sulci. The author's work consists of a novel method for presenting sulci from inside the cerebrum and an illustration of this method using a 3D brain atlas. The author acknowledges the limitations of using a single brain specimen for the cortical model but argues that it still has value and has been validated and recognized by medical and innovation societies. The cortical model has been incorporated into commercial brain atlas products and has received positive reviews from top clinicians and educators. The author concludes by expressing openness to the development of a better cerebral model.
