- Abstract
The article examines health-related quality of life in nursing home residents with urinary incontinence (UI). It explains the possible negative psychological issues related to older adult nursing home residents experiencing urinary UI. The characteristics of a positive health-related quality of life (HRQoL) are noted. The ways in which nurses may influence HRQoL in nursing home residents are discussed.
