- Abstract
The article provides an overview of pelvic organ prolapse (POP) and the use of Colpexin Sphere as a treatment option. POP is a common condition that can occur anytime during female life span and is described as protrusion of the pelvic organ into or out of the vaginal canal. When administered in conjunction with pelvic floor muscle exercises, Colpexin can improve both pelvic floor muscle strength and function, as well as urinary continence status in women with advanced genital prolapse.
