An essay is presented regarding the story of American government official Alger Hiss, who was accused of being a Soviet spy in 1948 and convicted of perjury in connection with the charge in the U.S. Brief overview of the Hiss' career background and the attacks that were thrown against him which were believed to be politically motivated, clearly false and homophobic is provided. Chronicles on Hiss' different charges through the effort of writer Whittaker Chambers are also offered.
