- Abstract
The article discusses several aspects of the Ritchie v. Rupe court case and ruling of Supreme Court of Texas. It mentions the Texas Supreme Court has announced that no common law cause of action for oppression existed and Texas courts has no power to order a buy-out under the statutory remedy for oppression. It also mentions the Supreme court has reversed jury's determination that three trustee shareholders have breached their fiduciary duties to a minority trustee.
