- Abstract
The aim of this paper is to establish a health risk evaluation method for hazardous chemicals leakage accidents at entry-exit ports, and to predict the situation of ecological environment and health risks under hazardous chemicals leakage at entry-exit ports. According to the four-step evaluation procedure of hazard identification, exposure evaluation, dose-reaction relationship evaluation and risk characteristics analysis commonly used in the world, combining with the characteristics of hazardous chemicals leakage accidents, and drawing on the relevant research results of foreign accidents, a situation prediction model for ecological environment and health risks under hazardous chemicals leakage at entry-exit ports is established. By inquiring the database of pollutant characteristics, the nature, characteristics and intensity of the health damage effect of hydrogen sulfide in hazardous chemicals leakage accidents at entry-exit ports are determined; the total exposure amount of people in the accident risk field is calculated according to the pollutant concentration value of real-time environmental monitoring at the accident site; and the health effects and their possible health effects of exposed people are evaluated by combining threshold method and probability equation method. The relative errors between the predicted results and the actual consequences of the accident are 71.7% and 17.0%, respectively. It shows that the parameters provided by the Netherlands Applied Scientific Research Organization can be used to predict the situation of hazardous chemicals leakage accidents at entry-exit ports more accurately.
