- Abstract
An essay is presented which explores the hairwork possessions of the family of English novelist Emily Brontë and her novel "Wuthering Heights." Topics discussed include the display of these possessions and other personal effects at the Brontë Parsonage Museum (BPM) in England, the elaborate design and value of 19th century hairwork featured in the BPM collection, and the personal connections and affections manifested through the locket featured in the said novel.
