The article presents the findings of a research study about closed fuel cycle and the impact of extra Minor Actinide (MA) isotopes towards Gas-Cooled Fast Reactor (GCFR). It describes the role of closed nuclear fuel cycle in GCFR's achievement of sustainability. Furthermore, it outlines several recommendations for future research about the fuel cycle.
