- Abstract
The article offers information on a survey which examines views of palliative care providers about discussing cancer family history or genetics in palliative care settings and estimates the frequency of cancer family history discussions in palliative care. It mentions that care providers face questions from patients regarding cancer family history; and also mentions need to determine whether encounters between social workers and patients represent an opportunity to discuss cancer heritability.
