- Abstract
The article presents a case study on the views of nursing home residents on dignity therapy and in participating in a phase II randomised controlled trial of a palliative care psychotherapy. Studies were conducted on individuals aged above 65 years with no major cognitive impairment residing in care homes in London, Great Britain which led to the conclusion that dignity therapy is likely to be beneficial to some residents who have the desire and capacity to engage in such an intervention.
