In this article the author discuses on the "principle of alternate possibilities" given by American philosopher Harry Frankfurt. He also states on the Frankfurt's challenges that focuses on an omniscient neuroscientist, Sandra Black, who monitors the brain patterns of his patient named Jones. He further discuses on the intervention between a volition to act and the ensuing act in the case of Black's patient.
