- Abstract
Black patients were more likely than their White counterparts to experience a delay in cancer diagnosis, with 11.3% of Black patients waiting more than a year versus 8.3% of White patients. Like most cancers, uterine cancer is known to have better outcomes the earlier it is diagnosed, but a new analysis shows that Black patients were more likely than White patients either to experience testing delays or to not receive recommended diagnostic tests.
