- Abstract
The article presents a speech by Sir Michael Wood, a member of the United National International Law Commission, which was delivered as the 2014 Jonathan I. Charney Distinguished Lecture in Public International Law at Vanderbilt University Law School on November 4, 2014 and addresses the relationships between international organizations and customary international laws. Charney's views about international law-making are examined, as well as public international lawyers and state practices.
