- Abstract
The article provides information on the piracy by dubbed user generated content (UGC) including softwares, news, digital videos and even pornography. It informs that enacted in 1998 Digital Millenium Copyright Act (DMCA) gives qualifying service providers access to a number of safe harbours that limit their liability. It refers to IO Group Inc. v. Veoh Networks Inc. and UMG Recordings Inc. v. Veoh Networks Inc. case in which plaintiffs sued the same video provider for copyright infringement.
