- Abstract
The article examines the click fraud arising from the exploitation of the cost per click online advertising price model in the U.S. The evolution of the Internet as a medium for marketing and innovations which enables advertisers to target advertising to specific consumers. Key information about the possible legal, regulatory and market-based solutions to consider in handling click fraud is further presented. The case "Lane's Gifts & Collectibles LLC v. Yahoo! Inc." was mentioned.
