The article presents a speech by CDR Matt Pothier, Officer in charge of the U.S. Navy's Landing School Officer (LSO) School at Navy Air station in Oceana, Virginia. The speech was delivered to fellow LSOs following mishaps in landing of aircrafts on ships. He addresses the issues that led to these mishaps and how LSOs are to train better since the training simulation cannot be repeated in normal circumstances.
